「竹久」
Takehisa
「竹」Take, or Bamboo, has always been an integral part of the Kyudo traditions.Not only being used as material to make bows and arrows, it also symbolizes the characteristics of a gentleman: integrity, tolerant and resolute.
The word,「久」Hisa or continuing, is chosen in the best wishes of people that Kyudo will take root and prosper again in Taiwan. Moreover, this new kyudojo, the first of its kind established after 1945, will stand to the testimonial of time.
Hence, the name is Takehisa kyudojo (竹久弓道場).
